Just got a Mac 9DS 4.25 comp and just loved it, super impressed. Ran it against a Shadow 2 Compact, and it feels so much more solid and consistent. Now, I have been browsing and wondering if I should get a Staccato. How much better is the fit on the Staccato - like I get a little bit of slide on frame wobble or “rattle” on the Mac - is that not on Staccato and maybe that’s a good thing as less tolerance maybe leads to more reliability? If so get a Staccato - there’s a Monsoon C2 around with MJD grips. I feel since they are out of production now, it will be more collectible value. Vs the P as the standard… lots to process, but ai enjoy the hunt!

I'm considering competitive shooting, just an enthusiast right now but enjoy collecting and experimenting. Here’s a question I’ve been trying to figure out for myself.

How does changing grips, and aiming affect my proficiency overall. I like the different experiences so own Glocks, Sig p365, p938, Walther, a few PSAs and just got a CZ Shadow 2 Compact and a Mac 9 DS 4.25 Comp. That being said, Glock vs sig vs Cz and 2011 all have different grip angles. Some have irons (I like the Sig p365 irons and want to keep it irons for light carry, have a 43x with dot in case I want to go that way too) and others are dots - both the CZ and Mac now have dots. Going from irons to dot change things - try to work on target focus but keep subconsciously going back and forth to using the dot like a front sight. Any input?

One thought I had is figuring out the platform I like best, maybe the CZ and just stay with that. But it will never conceal as well as a p938, 43x or the sig p365 legion which honestly I index the best with and has been my favorite gun in the past..

Going to range today to try the CZ and Mac for the first time. For those who use different platforms - what do you think? Ben Stoeger has videos going between Glock and 2011 with some loss but minimum - I'm no Ben Stoeger though... How do you get your ability to be gear agnostic or rather maintain proficiency with different platforms?

Just wanted to post a quick review of my experience - very efficient, great quality, responsive and trustworthy. Sent a message on Reddit, got a response in minutes, received my watch 2 days later. I have an original and my wife could not distinguish which is the rep.

The watch was packaged in envelope inside a box inside another envelope - super safe… felt like Xmas opening the gifts. All surfaces were covered in protective film - in fact, you can still see some in second picture. Movement is on point, few seconds fast. Quality - amazing. The whole experience made me very pleased… recommended to several of my friends.
