I've noticed when my scooby doo fix hits. Where Are You, gets the most consistent playback for me. And it got me thinking how it's pretty cool this little TV show '69 has such staying power that cartoon network reran it into the early 2000s and its probably still getting airplay for other kids on streaming or what have you now.

But what makes Where Are you, so easy to come back to compared to some of their more recent-older shows?

What's new was literally made just because the original got love still. There's some episodes that are just 'updated plots' of the original: shaggy runs back from a movie and meets the gang at a smoothie shop and not a malt shop. But it doesn't have as much staying power?

Anyone have What's New as a favorite?

1.) Do Thunder scouts not have aged/bagded based levels? Girl scouts, you can be as young as like 4 and something called a Daisy. There's brownies after that for older/younger elementary kids. Junior's is the last scout group that most people still do. It's mostly like middle school ages.

My point is I agree Tina has "aged out" of her troop. But she can't "age out" of scouts until like leaving HS/college. And if you make it to college as a scout, you're like King Nerd for a second.

2.) I know it's a reference ,but there's no way the parents know what's really happening at this creepy school. They probably just thought it was like cotillion sleep away or something. I really hope later we learn somehow thus creepy camp got shut down.

This is my first real office job. I've been there 3 years in the accounting department.

The accounting department is 4 employees, servicing a company that has between 70 to 80 employees and spends two different countries. (This alone feels like a problem)

About a year ago they fired the old CFO. Brought in a new guy.

Any time I try to ask a question about how the department is running, or how to do something he should've showed me how to do by now, I'm meant with him sighing and rolling his eyes.

My working theory is that I'm being slowly degraded and isolated until I quit, so they don't have to fire me. But it doesn't make sense.

My supervisor is an ass. I know this becuase he doesn't train the people he's hired after me with any sort of patience or positive feedback.

So i don't know if any of this is normal for a small company.

Hey all im 30 F, my body typically runs around a 28-40-day cycle. Does anyone have any info on the.. length of phases?

Any info I found is either "is 40 days normal", or lays out information stopping at day 28.

I have a co-worker, whose on the earlier end (im guessing around day 21), suddenly a few months ago my symptoms started speed-running to match hers (we'd complain about the same issues same days. And she's called out on "Days I need to sleep" becuase my period wws happening earlier). I've never socialized at work to a point where this happens.

This month im back on the higher end (i have a thing with swimsuits planned first weekend of June i was hoping the cycle wouldn't interfere with) . I thought syncing was more....a thing?

Idk. My version of "the talk" was being forced to listen to Are you There God its Me Margert on tape (in the early 2000s) without headphones. There wasn't even any discussion afterwards.

For a while, I thought he was just one of those school workers who shouldn't work with kids. But he's not even liked by adults, right? His own mother questions hus whole deal and asks if he's joyless.

He's such a stick in the mud that he can't even get an invite to staff drinks, and he doesn't even share enough interests with his mom she gets him. Is there good to him besides "cares just enough about kids despite being petty and literally unqualified"?

I tried a lot of steps to reset them, and all of characters might give a decent, but short (they're mostly trained to do long replies) one intros, but if I slide it for a different choice it might sound right for like a sentence. Or half a sentence before diving into a long-winded opening of nonsense, including foreign words and coding.

Are they really taking away chat options? I hate pipsqueak and pipseauk 2.

I'm leaning towards "no," but other streaming services have put out some of their higher performing shows onto other platforms. Bojack Horseman, for example, had at least a few seasons put on physical media and, as I under it, eventually let the show air on cable in some countries.

Futurama fans are also nerds. This show (and the episode commentaries) are a comfort to me. I'm bummed I no longer have the complete series on DVD.

Anyone have an info?

There used to be a link of just the audio files for DVD commentaries. I really don't wanna have to either figure out how to rip the audio from the DVD to audio files (if anyone knows how to do this that would be cool), or bust out and rotate the dvds as often as I would.

I know it's a podcast-based audio-play advert for an app-game that no longer exists. But I use it as a sleep aide when I'm tired of regular futurama.

I'm wondering if anyone loves it, finds it funny? Or hates it?
