This guy has the funniest way of getting a drink. He perches on the edge of the water dish and dips his butt/drinking patch in the water, but he doesn't seem to like to get fully in. His tank mate gets fully in, and my two older White's get fully in, so I don't know what his deal is. Anyone else have a frog who only dips their butt in to drink? And he only poops outside the water dish.
I'm convinced Rosie the Ribbiter ate every cricket in put in her enclosure last night. Earlier she looked like a little froggy beach ball, then she took a giant frog dump and now she looks back to normal. First pic is pre frog log, second is post frog log.
I picked up two new White's Tree Frogs yesterday. They were half price at the pet store since they had been there for over 6 months, and I couldn't stand the thought of someone getting a "cheap frog" for their kid without any knowledge on their care requirements. I've got them in a temporary quarantine tank for a couple months to make sure they are healthy and large enough to put in with my other two older White's. One of has let me know that he is a male, and I'm thinking the other one is a female. The first pic is the confirmed male, the other two are the suspected female.

How many crickets do your gray tree frogs eat at a time? It's been about a week and a half since I got crickets cause it's been too hot to transport them the 1/2 hour from the pet store to my house (my ac is broken in my car and the past week has been around 100°F). I finally got a chance to get crickets this morning and my female, Rosie, ate four of them as soon as I dumped them in the tank and they're not small crickets either. At that rate I don't know if twenty will last her a week. She's so full now I don't know if she can even hop!
