Cease and Desist
Highly entertaining seeing EB twist himself into a pretzel every which way to defend the cease and desist letter action from Jayden Daniel's "team". Commanders/Jayden fan here, but its just funny when he is on his heels like this.

It would be an all-time soundbyte but I think there was too much cross talking, wouldn't be a super clean pull. Still a funny quote!
I don't want to spoil the movie. I'll just say he is a sexual deviant that goes above and beyond to fulfill his urges. This movie may be considered a comedy by some, but it is so dark you could also label it as a drama. We spend a good bit of time with him in the movie but it feels mostly surface level, no backstory or anything.
Felt like the Bedouin assassins attacking them was nothing new. Zombie spear left a couple of stragglers.
Do you think they came back the next day to finish the job or were they too scared to ever return?
Good slop on a Thursday. Drab and Valdez making fun of her SI shoot - John Lennon butt etc. Bickel and Lurch caping up for her. Drab clapping back "have you ever actually watched a game". EB meekly "I watch highlights".
Drab "we def have different algorithms". EB trying to do a mic drop "I bet you like pictures of Angel Reese!".
I thought it was hilarious. Good stuff all around!
The episode airs this Sunday. The "villain" transports our heroes to a new location and changes them into these beach clothes. Remind you of anything?
But it entertained me nevertheless. Some highlights:
- Its hurting that this dude's name is Haaland and there is a country called Holland! Its confusing! This guy Haaland is ugly as all get out.
- Lurch: "I can't believe how well Argentina can pass the ball.... I can't believe how hard Mbappe can kick the ball!"
- "Some dude not named Mbappe scored a hat-trick" - JP (the dude was Dembele, the reigning ballon d'or winner)
- "The guys who were playing were trying!" - JP on 3rd place game. Multiple quotes from players and coaches before and after the game about how they didn't want to play in it and it didn't matter outside of stat padding.
Favorite American politician!
most I’ve laughed listening to the show in months. so dang funny. 50 thou to 100 thou…
Remember one of Sam Howell's best games? The 2023 OT loss to Philly? The team is driving down the field in overtime, Terry makes an amazing sideline catch.
But oh no, its ruled out of bounds? What in the world. You see in the replay, his one foot never touched the ground because he stepped right on Blankenship's (I think it was him) cleat! Oh the agony.
Of course that wasn't a penalty, but our own painful moment of an unintentional foot stomp leading to an unwanted result.
I was looking at pictures of Sue Murray and Ammon and it didn't look like it so was just curious. It looked like pools with lap lanes but just open, no ropes to separate/create lanes.
Can they get the bartender for Gio's wedding to hype up the team in the locker room?
In the March camp Poch looked at a player and asked if he wanted to be there, he said there was pain in his face. But cameras didn't show who he was talking to. Was that rhetorical or was he actually talking to someone? If so, who do you think it was?
Tim Weah after hugging Chris Richards daughter, looking at the camera saying "if you're tryna get pregnant, hit me up!".
Poch pulling CP aside and asking him how many goals has he scored in 2026 lol.
Sergino's dad, Matt Freese talking about his dad, Gio talking about his brother - emotional moments of the episode, probably the entire series.
A soft spoken Tillman saying he would die for his USA teammates.
Poch screaming at the team during halftime vs. Australia "THIS IS FOOTBALL" had me hype. We'd seen the crying video before, this moment was new to me.
Unfortunate it didn't end with the latest friendlies. Doc clearly trying to spin a positive narrative, hard to do that with Portugal/Belgium being the last games featured. But that can't really be helped with production, editing etc.
Who will be staying by the airport and will only be free in the evenings (conference)? From what I can tell SeaTac is a good distance from downtown Seattle.
Is it worth it to Uber/public transport north to go into town for touristy things? Space needle? Pike place Market? Restaurants, bars, pacific northwest aesthetic outdoors (parks, hiking), landmarks - anything that is unique or special to the area would be of interest to me. Capitol Hill? Any recs are appreciated given the specific timing and logistical circumstances.
