🔗 oh they had a TIME . N don’t get me started on that smirk .

WARNING: spoilers for You Maniac’s Episode 4 ahead.

In You Maniac’s latest episode, the situationship between Dean and Moth began to escalate. As things began to get heated between the two, Moth asked Dean to stop and as the viewers waited with baited breath to see what would be their next obstacle, Moth simply asked Dean if he’d give him a moment to use the bathroom.

Some viewers appeared confused as to why what would appear to be merely a brief interruption ended up going on for quite a while - long enough that by the time Moth exited the bathroom Dean had fallen asleep! 😅

But to queer viewers, this little diversion was not unexpected at all. As the translated tweet on the first image shows (link to Est’s retweet, in Thai), this is scene suggest Moth was a taking care of a very important step involved in preparation for engaging in anal sex.

Est retweeted this observation from a viewer and commended the writing team for their efforts in portraying gay sex authentically. William also retweeted the original comment.

In a latter sex, Dean and Moth make plans to actually complete the deed and Dean begs Moth to prepare himself beforehand ostensibly to avoid another long delay next time. 😂

Yay for more authentic depictions of queer men’s sexuality in BL!

🔗 Just to clarify, this was all playful banter. Both Dean and Moth are complex characters with red flags traits . Est has also said he wouldn’t trust Moth ( his own character) too much. During yesterday’s live he simply was not buying the Dean propaganda.

🔗 the You Maniac production deserves its flowers because the EXTRA dialogue from previous scenes/dates slowly gives us more context n makes us reframe the scenes we hv already watched.

🔗 WilliamEst enjoying “Last Person” by Asanee Wasan, the very song William dedicated to Est during his fancon press tour last year. They went on a concert date yesterday with William’s parents.

🔗 A commitment phobe vs being emotionally unavailable, with different attachment styles??? Oh this dynamic has me hooked. Hoping the Series don’t fumble these characters because the potential is there
