Activities/Workshops for Adults in the SJ Area?

hi everyone! Are there any activities for adults in the SJ Area?? I’m struggling with social interaction/loneliness and I’d like to have something/an activity to do throughout the year to push myself out of my comfort zone and maybe meet some people with similar interests, and if not at least it will be something fun to do 😊

I’m thinking more workshop vibes for myself over sports (although not opposed to it in the future as I hopefully get more comfortable). I see the SJ art centre has 6-week workshops for artsy things - I’m thinking of signing up for the 6-week ceramics course.

What else is out there for adults? Ideally something that runs a few weeks/months at a time. Anyone know of anything else?

Did anyone else’s progress look like this in the beginning ?

I’m sure there’s lots of these posts on this sub but I suppose I’m really just looking for reassurance/encouragement/advice. I started Ozempic at the very end of May and have “only” lost a little over 10lbs.

I literally feel like I overpower the Ozempic most days - I crave fast food or fancy take out meals when I am hungry which I don’t think helps because I give into it. That being said - I have so many days I just feel absolutely disgusted by food (there was one week where I was just disgusted with everything in general which was weird) and on those days I’ll eat 1/3 or 1/2 of my food or one meal a day.

My mother lost 100+ pounds on Ozempic so I know it works/takes time, and she’s also my prescriber: she keeps telling me to wait it out, that I’m still losing, and that I’m not even on the full dose yet. I’m able to move to 1.0 but I’m staying at .50 for an extra month because I’ll be travelling a lot in August and the medication has NOT been kind to my guts - hopefully this doesn’t stunt my progress too much more!

I guess I know any loss is great for my health but it seems like everyone reacts to the medication differently, so I shouldn’t compare but just wanna see if anyone’s start looked like mine?! It’s hard when your body is having so many side effects but not as much movement on the scale!!
