I realized that I stopped enjoying watching the shorts because I was always thinking about finding a quote, figuring out the names of the songs, and looking up other details.

One thing I'd change: Juliette/Eve getting feelings back. I didn't like her as Juliette, but LOVED her as Eve. It felt like we kept going backward. It was annoying! I did like the talk they had, and I do think he needed that in order for him to realize he loved the mother of his children.
One thing I wanted to happen: They could have shown photos of the different milestones that Team Grimm went through while Kelly was reading in the 20-year flash-forward.
One thing I loved: Nick and Adalind. I was really on the fence about these two up until the episode where they go to the hotel for Monroe's birthday. The way they were together was sweet, and when he came out of it, he went right to her. Him telling her he loved her brought the biggest tears in the world. Honestly, I don't think it was a coincidence that she was the first one he saw change.

I really don't understand how more people aren't talking about this '90s/'00s-coded vertical! Bella & Connor had amazing chemistry. I loved that every character got their own moments trying to win the pact instead of the story focusing on just one person. Plus, Annie is a cheerleader who actually supports the leads instead of being a bully. How often do we get that? Every time Cam comes to save Quinn, it feels straight out of a '90s/'00s movie. From climbing through her window to the sprinklers & the prom dance, it gave me so much nostalgia. Cam is also one of the biggest green-flag male leads in a vertical. & the closet scene? Easily one of my favorites ever—sweet, funny, and sexy all at once. "You're fucking beautiful" is officially on my list of lines that make me weak. The only thing that confused me was the "To Be Continued" ending because this felt like the perfect place to end. Another under-the-radar gem from ReelShort.

A spin on My Life with the Walter Boys (Ryan = Cole, Zach = Alex) mixed with hidden powers, plot holes, and an ending that had me screaming, "Where's part two?!" Basically every 2024 vertical. The whole witch twist came out of nowhere, and if she's turning 19, why did she suddenly have to move? The timeline just doesn't add up. Ryan and Sophia had great chemistry and carried this for me. Zach and Sophia felt forced, and Zach becoming a semi-abusive jerk was a huge letdown. Emma absolutely shines as a villain, though. The father kept hinting that Sophia needed to leave, but they never explained why. Then Ryan finally gets his moment with her... only for her to be taken away. We never got a part two, which makes the ending incredibly frustrating.

Originally, the next Book vs. Short was supposed to be Bound by Love, but if you thought the short wasn’t the greatest, don’t even get me started on the circus act I had to go through just to finish the book. I was tandem reading at one point. So, this book was very much a needed refresh after that.
I truly loved this short. I think ReelShort did a phenomenal job and really used the book as a script. They truly said “copy and paste” with many of the scenes.
There were about 10 chapters that felt like a whole new book had started, and honestly, I don’t think it was needed. But overall, it was still a good read that only took me a day to finish. The links for both the short and the book are in the link ❤️

From Campus Simp to Hidden Heiress
This was cute. I did not see the twist coming at all. I honestly thought it was going a totally different way. Because of that, it is different from the other hidden heiress shorts that are out there. The reason I am only giving this 3 is because of the ex-boyfriend being so damn annoying, some of the bad acting, I was not a big fan of the female lead, and that the brother didn't get with the friend. I know it would have had nothing to do with the story, but it would have been cute!

This was pretty much Taming My Bullies and Prince Charming x3 combined into one short. I loved the chemistry between the leads, even though I'm not that big of a fan of the male lead. The youngest brother was giving off so many younger brother vibes that it was funny. The female lead was funny with her comebacks, especially her walking out to all of them in her driveway. Of course, if you know me and this page, if racing is somehow involved, it gets a star just for that reason. It was cute, and I know all the actors had a great time on this set from what was posted also.
