Do not buy Lloyd / Havells ACs. Horrible after-sales service in Gurugram, left stranded for 5 days.

Bought a Lloyd AC, it stopped working under warranty. Raised a complaint on 4th July. It’s been 5 days, multiple customer care calls, emails to the Grievance Officer, and even an NCH complaint later—still NO technician has visited. Only getting fake "telephonic assurances." Avoid this brand if you care about peace of mind.

Hey everyone, writing this out of sheer frustration while sweating it out in Gurugram. I wanted to share my ongoing nightmare with Lloyd (Havells India) after-sales service so others don't fall into the same trap.

The Timeline of Absolute Failure:

4th July: Brand new/under-warranty Lloyd AC completely stops working. Immediately raised an official complaint (Ticket ID: \[**04072653275072**\]).

5th - 6th July: Called customer care multiple times requesting priority escalation. Sent detailed emails to support. Complete radio silence.

7th July: Escalated directly to their designated Grievance Officer via email. Still no ground support.

8th July: Fed up, I filed an official complaint on the National Consumer Helpline (NCH) **9668811**

The Corporate Game: After the NCH filing, I finally got a call from Havells corporate desk giving me generic verbal promises that "the problem will be resolved soon with the service team."

Today (9th July): It has been 5 days. STILL NO TECHNICIAN HAS VISITED. No local service partner has even called to schedule a visit.

Why I am posting this here:

They are clearly using verbal calls as a stalling tactic to keep me quiet without actually deploying anyone on the field. A premium brand leaving a customer stranded in peak summer with a dead machine under warranty is a blatant deficiency of service.

Has anyone else dealt with Havells/Lloyd nodal teams recently? How do you break through their layer of fake phone promises to get an actual technician to show up?

Word of advice to anyone buying an AC this season: Think twice about Lloyd. Their warranty is just a piece of paper; their ground service network in Delhi-NCR is non-existent.
