Road trip ideas

Hey everyone,

I’m taking a week off for what was intended to be a little staycation. I’m in New England (central CT) and figured I could use the time to take a long trip somewhere. Anyone got any recommendations? In open to overnights even staying in one place for a night, and then keep going.

I’d be doing this trip solo, would need everything to fit in a backpack or so since my bike doesn’t have any luggage.

Would also like to avoid highways and hit some scenic roads obviously. Open to all recommendations.

Mods, feel free to remove if I’m breaking any rules.

Well, I screwed up. Learn from my mistake

So I picked up a new bike (kawi Z900RS) and a new helmet (AGV K1S)

While riding to pick up my better half I had it secured to my backseat with a bungee cord.

It tipped and hung off the side of the bike right over the exhaust and melted into what I can only consider an abstract modern art piece.

I reached out to AGV, and told them the story and passed on pics because I figured someone would find it funny. They were gracious enough to offer me 15% off a replacement.

All in all, great customer service by AVG, I also do love the helmet so I’m pretty sure they just made themselves a lifelong customer.

Enjoy the art!

Edit for those asking: the date went well. We’ve been together for a while. The replacement cost for the helmet is sadly coming from a year long ring fund. I hope she understands. lol
