Just got back from an epic 700 mile round trip to Wales, 2 FJR's and left to right a Honda NC750, Triumph Rocket, BMW S1000R, Kawasaki Z650 and a Triumph Scrambler. None of the bikes missed a beat for the entire trip and did not notice any discomfort on my rear, just the usual achy knees and arms (had a touring screen on). Our route planner did a spectacular job finding the best twistys to make the most of the bikes, the weather was up and down but mainly dry (apart from torrential downpour / flooding on M6 on way back).
Started off today on 11 day ride. This is by Truckee. Reno for 2 days then all the way down the coast on the 1 tp orange county then home
Tolt-MacDonald Park.
I stop and fly in random places most people will never see from the air. YouTube.com/mydogischoking
Did a ride through the Elan Valley this week and put together a 60-second edit from the trip. The roads and scenery were ridiculously good — especially early morning before traffic appeared. The roads to Claerwyn are closed when I went but cut through the barrier and you can bypass the works.
Easily one of my favourite rides in Mid Wales so far.

Supermoto versus a Dual Sport motorcycle, which is really better in 2026? Dual sport motorcycles are no longer limited to dual sport wheels with inner tubes which used to be its weakest attribute. There are new dual sport motorcycles that are better than ever and make it even more difficult to choose between getting a supermoto or a dual sport motorcycle. See my latest video and I’ll show you if a Supermoto or Dual Sport is better to get.
So i got a bike (450mt) and after the first service i immediately did a 1200kms on the highway basically sitting at 6k+ for the entire trip. Should i be concerned about oil consumption after this ?(or some other problems)

My dad and his mate are doing a lap around Australia in two weeks to raise money for pancreatic cancer. I’m super proud of him and thought this sub would appreciate the road trip! For anyone who doesn’t know already - Australia is MASSIVE and to do the lap in two weeks is insane. A lot of the riding once they leave the east coast is super remote with nothing but outback for miles. I hope they make their goal of within two weeks but as long as they get home in one piece I’ll be a proud motorbike riding daughter 🥲

Fabulous day. Today's theme was "wenatchee". If you google "what does the place name wenatchee mean' one gets: "Wenatchee" is derived from the Wenatchi Salish Native American word (often transliterated from Yakama-Sahaptin as Winátsha) generally understood to mean "river flowing from a canyon," "water rushing out," or "roaring river," referring to the Wenatchee River's journey from the Cascade Mountains. Other interpretations include "robe of the rainbow," "meeting of the rivers," or "good place".
