4 years ago today, a video titled "So Long Nerds" was uploaded onto the Technoblade channel, where his father announced his tragic passing. Technoblade brought so many people so much joy, and It's a shame he had to be taken from us so soon. It pains me and so many others to think of this day to this very day. But instead of feeling blue, let's celebrate his life and what he has done for so many people, because that's what Alex would have wanted us to do. So please, if you can, take a minute out of your day and pay tribute to Alex's life, and legacy with a minute of silence. Thank-you

Technolarp will most likely get half the cut of the revenue from the channel! Very happy for him, especially considering he's not in the greatest position financially so this money will go a long way for him. Very well deserved.

Glad he also let the community decide on this matter. Show's how he puts the viewers first, which I respect a lot.

I know it's "immoral" to profit of someone like Techno, but he honestly just reminds me so much of him especially with his content and make me feel like he's still around. I almost wish he could maybe keep a little bit of ad revenue because I respect him so much. He is very talented, and I wouldn't mind if he let's say donates 80% to charity and pockets the other 20 and reinvests some into the content somehow. I personally wouldn't mind that, because he has a talent and found a way to execute that talent and garner attention for it, which I really do respect. I wish had donations turned on, so I could send him a superchat or something to show my appreciation for his content, because I think he deserves it.

I hope I don't sound like a bad person saying this who wants people profiting off Techno, but this is different from the Braso situation or other people who have milked him for views. It's not even comparable. I wouldn't be saying all of this if I didn't truly think so, and if I knew he was trying to make content to purely profit off of his name I would never have said any of this and would be very much against him. I just really like what he does and Techno's content brought me so much joy and seeing someone who sounds so alike do something similar reminds me of when Techno was still around and reminds me of lots of good memories and fills a little hole in my heart. All of this just makes me want to show some appreciation monetarily, because I think he deserves at least SOMETHING personally...

I tried everything I could but I literally can't find any way to even remotely get close to bypassing it. If anyone has any tips on how I could get around it or preferably remove it completely from my device I would much appreciate it. I am willing to do anything it takes.

I can't even tell you the first video I watched because I don't really remember, but I would say around 5-6 years ago? During the Dream SMP and then especially during the 100k duel is when I started to notice him more than I did. Idk I feel like a larper though for some reason because I didn't watch the guy back in 2018 or something 😭

During the 100k duel, that was like the peak of Dream. Everyone and their mother was watching him. So at that time, I remember rooting for Dream against Techno, because I watched him more during that time and he was the talk of the town back then.
Now looking back at it though, I'm really glad Techno won...
Who did you guys root for?

I think this goes for all people. But when someone passes, the remorse kind of makes you check up on them. I don't think I truly appreciated Alex as much as I do now after his passing, and I think that can be said for a lot of people. So make sure to treasure and appreciate the people that are close to you in your life while you can. I think now that I'm older, I understand him more in a way compared to when I started watching him, when I was like 10. Especially his jokes, I get a lot more of the humor he has in his videos now that I simply would not have understood some years ago which I think I've become an even bigger fan than I already was after his passing, and I don't know if that's a good, or bad thing. I think if he were still around, I would still watch him consistently and be a fan, but I don't know if I would interact with the community as much as I do now, or have as much merch as I have of him now, simply due to the fact that he is no longer with us, and that heartbreak made me appreciate and grow closer to his content more. But like I said, I don't know if that's a good or bad thing...

Currently you're unable to join Techno's island because a few years ago Hypixel fixed some API issues, and during that downtime they closed all islands and those islands can only be visited when the person logs on after the fix. So all it would take for TechnoDad to do is to go onto Techno's Minecraft account, log onto Hypixel, go onto Techno's Skyblock island, and set it to public. It's really simple to do, and would mean so so much for the community. I really hope some day I get to see his island in person, as I've never gotten the chance to do so.

Yesterday was his Birthday, and I have have to admit I felt a lot more emotional about it than I have in a long time. At least more than I did last year. I always say that after enough time has passed, and after my tears run dry, I won't be able to feel the same way I used to about a passing of someone close to me. That's kinda the philosophy I had for myself to an extent. But yesterday, I celebrated Techno's Birthday the best I could. I preordered the Art of War on the merch store, sang him happy Birthday, cuddled with his Youtooz plushies, wore his merch, watched his videos, including rewatching the potato war series. Posted on the subreddit, posted a birthday message on Twitter, reposted fan art on Twitter, won a game of Bedwars using his texture pack, visited his memorial in the Hypixel hub and just had a conversation out loud with his stone statue, like it was his grave. I even decided to have a drink for him, but since I can't drink alcohol, I decided to buy a Monster and crack it open just for him. Giving him a cheers in a process. Anyway, I just felt a lot stronger emotions yesterday. I cried over him for the first time in a while, practically sobbing. I kept telling myself, It's not fair, why him out of all people? Why did he have to suffer. Maybe It's because my life overall has been rough recently, with me recently discharging from PHP
(Partial Mental Hospitalization), and his Birthday made me remember him more than I usually do and amplified my emotions, or the fact I just interacted with the community more this year as apposed to last year where for his birthday I did celebrate, but I didn't do as many little things as I did today for whatever reason I had last year. But whatever the case may be, I miss him. I really do. He meant a lot to me. He inspired me to do so many things, his content brought joy to my life. He's the first experience I've had with loss, thankfully my family are doing well for the time being, so maybe I'm just not used to things like this.
I wish I could do more to celebrate his birthday, but I did my best, and ig that's all that counts. I thought I already accepted that he was gone, but yesterday proved otherwise.
I suppose It's still hard to believe that Technoblade is gone...

I don't know why I'm writing this. Probably to just get my thoughts out there and vent. I'm reminded of him every day, not just online, but more specifically in real life as a cause to the massive amounts of Techno merchandise I own. But yesterday, it just hit different as a cause to his birthday. Sorry if this was a rant. I just needed to get this out there to someone...

I have this signed MrTechnodad One of Us poster that was sold for some time, but not really publicly advertised all that much. I just saw it on the website on day and thought it would be a cool thing to have. Wondering if anyone here might have the same thing

If you guys don't know, Reddoons is a popular MC Youtuber who was on Lifesteal. He imo sounds REALLY similar like Techno, like his voice, speech patterns, and even the way he laughs. which one of the reasons I enjoy watching him so much. I was wondering if you guys think he would hypothetically be a good option for a sound-alike for "Technoblade: The Movie" produced by a Youtube channel called Sticks. If you don't know will pretty much be telling the story of Technoblade's life and his rise to fame and all that kind of stuff in a live action format. I know I'm not the only one who thinks he sounds alike to Techno, as he's gotten those remarks many times in the past, but I wonder if he could actually be a good casting for a sound-alike in this movie. Let me know if ya'll think he would fit in.

Technoblade's Birthday is coming up June 1st. So I'm curious if you guys here will do anything to celebrate it? Can be something small and sentimental, like watching one of his videos, or eating a steak baked potato, his favorite meal! I'm curious how people here will celebrate. Let me know!
