Enrolled nurse without grad year

Has anyone started as an Enrolled Nurse in a hospital without doing a graduate year?

I’ve recently been offered a hospital EN position, but I’m feeling nervous because I won’t be going through a formal grad program. I completed my diploma and have some placement experience, but I’m worried about whether I’ll be able to manage the workload, medications, and responsibilities as a new nurse.

For those who started without a grad year, how did you find it? Did you feel supported? Any advice for building confidence and surviving those first few months would be really appreciated.

New EN nurse first hospital job

Hello,
I am a newly graduated EN nurse. I am fortunate to get a position on an orthopaedic ward as an enrolled nurse with a private hospital. I graduated in February and didn’t apply for a grad year because I wasn’t able to commit to .8 EFT. Any tips or advice?? I am so eager to learn and ready to give it my absolute all. I don’t want to fail.

HELP please! Confused about calendar and link

Hello!
I have a job interview tomorrow. I have accepted the invite via my email (the email has now disappeared) I have gone into my teams app via my phone and the interview is in my calendar. When I click on the interview it only has “accepted” and the participants but there is no option to say “join meeting”. Will the join meeting option appear when it’s closer to the time or should I email the interviewer and ask for the manual link? Any advice would be helpful as it’s a really important interview

Resume as a new enrolled nurse

Hello!
I am looking for some guidance with my resume. As a new nurse I don’t have much experience only my placements although I did a fellowship with Epworth. Would I include my fellowship in my resume? I have been in healthcare admin for 10 years and a couple of years of NDIS just wondering if I should include the placements?
Any advice is helpful:)

Feeling lost after completing my EN and unable to find work

Have been a medical secretary for the past 10 years. I worked with a surgeon for over 5 years and left as I was overwhelmed with studying nursing plus expecting my second baby. He was the BEST boss, I often worked my own hours and worked from home. I resigned from the surgeon as I was due to have my baby in June last year and graduated nursing Feb this year. I am now unemployed and struggling to find an enrolled nursing position because I have no experience. I am unable to do a grad year because I have a young family and the shift work is impossible. Considering going to uni next year to complete my bachelor. I am so lost and regretting resigning my job to follow my dream to become a nurse. Any advice would be helpful, thank you.

Finding a diamond was so much harder than expected. So many different aspects to think about. I settled on a 1.5 caret, F, IF. Thoughts?
