I think emotionally unavailable people made consistency feel “boring”

Lately I’ve noticed something strange.

A lot of people say they want:

healthy communication

emotional safety

consistency

calm love

But when they actually experience it, they sometimes lose interest because it feels “too easy.”

Meanwhile the confusing, emotionally unavailable person creates anxiety, uncertainty and emotional highs/lows… which somehow gets mistaken for passion.

I honestly think modern dating confused emotional chaos with real connection.

Curious if anyone else feels this way?

I thought soulmate sketches were cringe until this happened 😭

Okay I genuinely used to laugh whenever I saw those “soulmate sketch” things online 😭

I thought there was no way a random drawing could feel personal.

But one of my friends randomly tried one recently and showed me the result…

and honestly the weird part wasn’t even the sketch.

It was how accurate the personality description felt.

Like calm energy, emotionally safe, soft spoken, protective, deep conversations etc.

Now I lowkey understand why people get obsessed with these things 💀

Has anyone else here tried one before?

Have you ever felt emotionally connected to someone before even meeting them?

This might sound strange, but lately I’ve been thinking about how some people describe feeling deeply connected to someone even before actually meeting them.

Not obsession or fantasy — more like a calm familiarity.

Almost like your mind already recognizes the type of energy/personality that feels emotionally safe to you.

I’m curious if anyone here has genuinely experienced that before?

Did it turn out to be real, or did it fade once you actually met the person?
