TTC after a chemical earlier this year

Hi guys! This will be my 7th month TTC baby #2 and I wanted to share my experience in case it helps someone else.

I conceived my first baby on the 2nd cycle, so when things started taking longer with baby #2, I decided to bring it up with my OBGYN. For context, I had a chemical pregnancy back in May my 3rd month TTC baby #2. My OBGYN at the time dismissed my concerns and told me that it was completely normal for it to take longer the second time around, even though I conceived my first very quickly. She recommended that I just keep trying for another 6 months before doing any testing.

This month, when I got my period, I decided to see a different OBGYN. She completely heard my concerns and decided to run some tests.

Turns out I have BV and I’m now on antibiotics. If I’m not pregnant next month, she has already referred me for an HSG. She also ran all my bloodwork, and everything looks great so far. The only thing that came back abnormal was the BV.

I’m not saying BV is necessarily the reason I haven’t conceived, but it can affect the vaginal environment and may make it more difficult for sperm to reach the egg.

The main thing I wanted to share is: don’t feel like you have to wait until the one-year mark if you feel like something is off, or even if you just need reassurance that everything is okay. Having answers can give you peace of mind while you continue TTC.

And if you feel like your OBGYN isn’t listening to you, it’s okay to find another doctor who does. I’m really glad I advocated for myself and got a second opinion. ❤️

TTC baby 2 taking much longer than expected

I need some positive stories 😭 I conceived my first baby on our 2nd cycle, so I honestly thought getting pregnant again would be pretty straightforward. Well… here I am on cycle 5 of TTC baby #2 and still not pregnant.

I know 5 cycles isn’t considered a super long time, but it feels SO long when you conceived your first so quickly. Every negative test has me wondering what changed. 😭

Has anyone else had it take 5+ cycles for baby #2 and eventually conceived naturally without needing any intervention? I’m really just looking for some positive stories right now because I need to hear that it can take longer the second time and still work out. ❤️

7 dpo progesterone rise

7 DPO and my PdG is higher than I’ve ever seen — 38.45! 🥹 Inito confirmed ovulation with a PdG rise on 2 DPO. Has anyone else seen PdG this high and gone on to get a BFP?

Could this be an implantation rise?

Low LH after a chemical loss?

Hi everyone! This is our 3rd month ttc. Last month ended in a chemical and my hormones have been wonky this month. I peaked 3 days earlier than usual but my LH seems lower than the past two months

Did anyone have low LH after a chemical loss and still successfully conceived?

How long after a chemical did you conceive?

Thank you everyone!

Has anyone gotten pregnant with BD before peak fertility?

Husband and I are unable to BD today on peak so I’m worried my timing wont be good this month.

We BD day before peak and 2 days before peak
