I need a pick-me-up, and I am always searching for these. At this point I feel like I have read every book and watched every movie that is amwf (except for the cancer one, im not watching that, itll crush me) but i hope that is not true

I guess personally id be more excited about book recommendations, since i think theres a higher chance of some slipping through the cracks. Ive already read Josh and Hazels Guide to Not Dating and Eleanor and Park. I tried Twisted Hate but it was too corny for me.

As far as movies go, ive seen the main contenders, my favorite being Sophie and the Rising Sun. But if anyone knows anything smaller or indie that maybe I havent heard of please chime in!!

Im juat curious on what the experts here think.

So I have a cat and two dogs. Everyone gets along very well. There are three nights a week where my ex usually keeps my dogs for me because I work 12 hour shifts on the weekends.

My question is this. When my dogs are not here, my cat isnt much of a lap sitter. She still hangs out with me, but she will just sit next to me and hang out when its just me and her.

When my dogs *are* here, shes like a totally different cat. Shes especially affectionate, and turns into a cuddly lap kitty.

I just dont understand why their presence changes her behavior so much! At first I thought it was bc shes happier when theyre here, but I also wonder if she feels possessive bc of how much shes in my space.

Thoughts?
