I just upgraded my enclosure to one that’s 47” x 19”x 20” and have a hammock coming in the mail to put under their heat lamp for a better basking spot, but I want a bit more clutter/wall decorations to make it seem a bit less empty (I do have a reptile speciality store in my city, it’s where I bought basically everything in the enclosure)
Can’t decide if it’s worth it to keep up with this or just shave it
For context I’m a very specialized welder and work on pressure vessels so I need to be 100% all of the time, I’m one of two people on my shift who’s allowed to work on the products I work on, and those pieces range anywhere from 10,000 - 40,000 lbs, 20’ - 40’ long by 8’ - 10’ wide, and anywhere from 5/8” - 5” thick.
I had to leave work early yesterday and I called in sick today due to a bad cold and I just feel so guilty about it, but the thought of welding, gouging, or moving/flipping those things over with a crane is too much for me right now.
Maybe it stems from childhood, but I can never call in without feeling immensely guilty about it, and I’m just wondering how people deal with that guilt.
I tried to tough it out today and go into work but I had to leave after two hours and just feel so guilty, now I’m just sitting at home feeling sick and exhausted and like I did something wrong and I can’t shake it
