I think what I miss the most isn’t love.
It’s having someone.
Someone to tell about my day,
someone to call before I sleep,
someone to laugh with over the most random things,
someone who asks, “How was your day?” and genuinely wants to know.
I don’t want someone to complete me.
I just want someone to share life with.
My days, my nights, my silence, my happiness, even the little things nobody else would care about.
Maybe I’m not lonely because I have no one around.
Maybe I’m lonely because I don’t have my person yet.
