She has a general setlist, concept, and a few venues in mind. Now she just needs a few girls to join her!!

Hello!

My girlfriend has finally finished enough of her demo that she's looking to record it. Is there anyone in town who would be willing to help us do this?

We are considering getting a space at Soundscape@rabbits or Traffic Jam on Patton (if you don't already have a setup). We think it would be a 1-2 hour project.

She has made an extreme metal demo (death metal, slam, grindcore, etc. Influenced) with guitars and possibly some vocals that need to be recorded. It's going to be 3-8 songs, mostly very short.

Sometimes when I'm shopping at neo tobacco and vape by bleachery blvd i pull into the parking lot. From up the hill I hear this guy screaming full force at a woman about stuff like "I can't have a house because of your hormones" or telling her to fuck off and get out and she's stupid. I frequently hear her sobbing and screaming at him to stop or get away. He's been escalating into punching(?) something so hard it almost sounds like a dulled gunshot (it isn't).

Any advice? This has happened at least 3 times recently and it's disturbing how aggressive and violent he gets

I did call 911 once but idk if a cop went to check it out or anything. For added context, I am literally hearing this all the way down a very tall cliff

I've been in the area for a bit and have been feeling like the metal scene is pretty dead here. Hopefully I'm just looking in the wrong spots.

I love what I've found so far. Tons of punk, so many goths, endless doom.

I've been through Charlotte and Raleigh for some of the bigger names but I'm hoping for something closer to home and preferably a local group.
