Architects Marking Property Lines

I know i’m not the only one who comes across plans where an architect or drafter marks “property lines” or “boundaries”. No PLS. No boundary survey on file. Correct me if i’m wrong but this is very illegal and wrong.

ALSO———- Why does the county always require site plans to show property lines, but they also say you don’t need a boundary survey. This has been a re occurring question from my colleagues, clients etc.
