I hate that I still miss them...

50/50 but we both get 2 uninterrupted vacation weeks each summer. They are with their mother this week which is great and I should be living it up as I'm only charged with making sure I take care of me but I find myself unmotivated and sad. We've been doing this for a bit now but it never seems to get easier 🤷🏽‍♂️ just a vent...

38 [M4F]- NY (upstate-ish)

Divorced single dad of 3 kids. I'm very active in their lives I have 50/50 and now that everything has been finalized for over a year! I'm ready to put myself back out there but can't stand dating apps. I had attempted dating during the separation and divorce but had a couple of failures (which I did play a role in those failure) I'm looking to get to know someone. I am fully self-sustaining, meaning I'm employed full time, cook, and clean. I'm a comic book and superhero nerd. I like sci-fi, fantasy, football (college and NFL). I 3d print as a hobby. I'm far from perfect but have done a lot of work on myself through therapy especially the past 5 years and will be continuing that progress. If you're intrigued dm me

M 37- single dad-when I'm not working I'm parenting...

Been separated since October of 2022 went through a rough custody battle just to be divorced officially for just over a year. Through the divorce I lost a lot of friends and a lot of myself. Where I was once confident and charismatic. I became awkward and a bit anxious. Tried dating but the constant drama of the divorce was a lot to do that too and I'm just struggling to make connections. When I'm not a work (new job) I'm parenting and when I'm parenting at school events and bday parties i attempt to talk to and engage with other parents but it falls flat. In my older age I find my hobbies are more solo activities but yeah unsure the point the of this post but there it is
