Feb? Fab? What's this meaning???

Hi I'm Korean and recently I went a few job interviews and heard interviewer kept saying something sounds like "Feb" when they finished their word.

I assumed it meant kinda simple "yeah all good" but what's exact spelling and meaning? I think it's UK word cuz I've never heard of it in other countries.

I’m a Korean on a YMS visa currently based in London, and my rent contract ends in June. I’m considering relocating to Glasgow, but I haven’t arranged any viewings, accommodation, or concrete plans yet.

I just applied to a small homeware shop, and I’m wondering—would it be a bit pointless to apply for roles like this or café jobs at this stage? I know these kinds of positions usually look for someone who can start ASAP.

Would it be better for me to go to Glasgow first and secure accommodation before job hunting?

Also, it seems like there are more hiring posts on Instagram than on Indeed in Glasgow. Is it still common (and more effective) to print out CVs and apply in person there?
