Today I feel horrible about myself. I was receiving a patient from the OR. The OR nurse goes. "Oh, it's her again." O2 Stats were 89% and I put on the nasal cannula upside down The anesthesiologist stops and helps me put it back on. I put the pt on 4L NC, O2 goes from 89-90%. While this is all happening the OR nurse is laughing at me and making me feel more intimidated. Ive been in PACU for 7 months. I've recovered many patients before and felt like I knew nothing for some reason in the moment even though I've done this before many times without a problem. I felt horrible about myself, thinking back on it, I could have increased the HOB and done other interventions. What else?
