Pregnant + breastfeeding + cosleeping

Currently 9 weeks pregnant with my second and still breastfeeding and cosleeping with my 18 month old. However, since I’ve found out I’m pregnant, breastfeeding hurts SO BAD! The pain only lasts the first 15 seconds of the latch but it hurts every single time, it feels like someone is pinching me.

I’m not sure if it’s due to a decrease in supply/taste or my LO going through a regression of some sort, but he had been sleeping through the night and now recently he’s up 1-3 times a night for milk. It’s exhausting at this point. Between the pain fully waking me up out of my sleep and just interrupted sleep, I’m not sure what to do. And I feel like we’re both getting disruptive sleep.

I had planned to breastfeed at least until 2, but this pain has me wanting to gently wean now, but idk how to even start. My ideal plan was getting him into his own bed, fully weaned, etc by the time the new baby came but I’m not sure if it’s going to be possible.
