Hi all! My fiancé and I are recently engaged (less than a month) and all my parents are talking about is our guest list. We wanted our closest family and friends present as we are having a small beach wedding (capacity 120) but they keep adding cousins or friends to the list and we’re over 130 now.

My dad will not speak to me because I refuse to invite my stepmoms cousins who I see once a year (extra 12-14 ppl). He is saying that if my mom’s (his ex wife’s) cousins get to go (4 ppl), then they should go too.

Has anyone handled a situation like this? Not sure where to cut the list. If it were up to me none of them would come, but seems like no matter my answer someone is upset with me!
