Equipments review

I’ve received a quote from a local integrator for a video surveillance system in a condo building and I’d appreciate a sanity check from people who do this regularly.. I’m mainly looking for feedback on whether the hardware choices and sizing make sense, not the price itself.
Context: [3 floors / 4 units], coverage is [lobby, parking, entrances, stairwells, perimeter].
What’s quoted:

Qty |Item
8 |DS-2CD1043G2-LIU (2.8mm) — 4MP Smart Hybrid Light bullet
7 |DS-2CD1143G2-LIU (2.8mm) — 4MP Smart Hybrid Light dome
1 |DS-7616NI-Q2/16P — 16ch NVR, 16 PoE, 4K
1 |WD 4TB HDD
3 |Cat6 FTP indoor cable, 305m boxes
1 |6U rack cabinet
6 |Conduit rolls
1 |Pack of 100 shielded Cat6 RJ45 connectors
1 |HDMI splitter (2 out) + 100m fibre HDMI cable + 10m HDMI 2.1
1 |APC 5-outlet surge protector
1 |Misc. accessories (junction boxes, ties, anchors)
— |Installation and configuration Concerns I already have:

  1. 4TB seems way too small. By my math, 15x 4MP cameras on H.265+ eats ~450-500 GB/day on continuous recording, so I’d get maybe 7-10 days of retention. The NVR takes 2x 8TB. Am I right that I should push for 8TB minimum, and insist on a WD Purple rather than an unspecified “WD 4TB”?
  2. Everything is 2.8mm fixed. Per the datasheet that’s ~12m recognition, ~6m identification. For a parking entrance or a lobby door where I actually want to identify a face or read a plate, shouldn’t some of these be 4mm or varifocal?
  3. Series 1 (Value) cameras. These are the 1/3” sensor line with Motion Detection 2.0 rather than true AcuSense. Is it worth pushing for 2-series (e.g. DS-2CD2347G2H-LIU) on the critical positions, or is the Value line fine for a residential building?

Quote review — 15-camera Hikvision system for a condo building. Does this spec make sense?

I’ve received a quote from a local integrator for a video surveillance system in a condo building and I’d appreciate a sanity check from people who do this regularly. I’m based in Congo-Brazzaville, so local pricing and product availability are different from the US/EU — I’m mainly looking for feedback on whether the hardware choices and sizing make sense, not the price itself.
Context: [3 floors / 4 units], coverage is [lobby, parking, entrances, stairwells, perimeter]. Total quote is roughly $4,800 USD equivalent, installation included.

Anything else obviously missing or mis-sized? Does the equipment make sense ? Thanks in advance.
