Neighbour’s loud music - advice?

I moved into a new house last year and my retired neighbour plays music/karaoke very loud for a couple of hours everyday in his garage/shed and it has become quite a nuisance.

My bedroom, and where I work from, is in the front of the house and diagonal to this garage area so it absorbs quite a lot of the sound.

I can still hear it with my headphones and music on in my room. Often, I’m forced to wear earplugs under my headphones, and I can still hear it in every room/back of the garden.

I shouldn’t have to walk around my house in headphones for hours everyday because the noise is too distracting/annoying. It’s making my life quite miserable and I dread when he plays it as it’s something I’m quite sensitive to now.

I have asked him to turn it down twice and I think maybe he has a little bit, but it’s not made too much difference. How do I approach this? I don’t think it’s loud enough to warrant the council to get involved, but the bass (or something) seems to travel far.

French drain gravel gradient issue

I was wondering if anyone could help me resolve an issue with a French drain I’ve been building.

The channel I’ve dug has a good gradient and water collects at the very end. But today, I added a base layer of gravel and put the pipe on top.

I tested it with a hose inside the pipe and the water seemed to travel to the end, but the gravel layer wasn’t wet on top. Do you think the water has just travelled below the gravel instead of down the perforated pipe?

I was trying to investigate this and took a measuring level but it said two areas of the pipe (each about 1-1.5m length) were flat. When I tried to correct this by removing some of the gravel to increase a gradient, it just made it worse somehow. How do I correct this- so there’s a continuous gradient/fall throughout?

Sorry if these answers are obvious - my brain is a bit fried after what I thought would be a fairly simple task of laying gravel!

Thanks

Hi,

I’m trying to understand HCG usage. Is it a necessity while starting a 250/300mg weekly cycle to protect your balls?

I’ve read that it’s important, but also that it messes up your Estrogen and then you’d definitely need an AI?

What’s your experience/advice?

Thanks

Hi,

I’m about to start my first cycle (300mg Test C weekly) and have done some research about hair loss, but I was hoping to get some wider advice.

I’ve read varying reports of Fin/Min/Dut/Ru but wondered:

- whether if best to start immediately as a precaution, or wait until any hair loss starts (it seems like the damage will be too far gone at that point)

- whether it’s best to start small with topical Min and escalate accordingly, or start off oral Fin just to be sure

I’ve done some research but it’s hard to decide on 1 route when everyone seems to have an opinion on what worked/didn’t work for them (I understand personal reactions are so specific to each body etc). Any helpful advice would be appreciated, thanks!

N.B Genetically, a couple of the men in my family have had thinning hair in their 50/60s, but I believe that’s age related more than anything else. My brother has thinning hair in his 30s but not really sure why (maybe he’s secretly pinning, too). I’m in my early 30s and haven’t really seen any hair loss naturally.

Hi,

I’m getting bloods checked out before starting on test and I’m just wondering what you’d suggest is 100% necessary and any others that would be ideal.

Thanks in advance
