Our cruise from Basel to Amsterdam was cancelled for 10/14. We decided to make our own travel arrangements instead of the alternative cruise they were offering..

Luzerne 2 nights
Interlaken area 3 nights
Stratsburg stay 1 night
Middle Rhine 2 nights
Cologne 1 night
Amsterdam 2 nights

Does this sound like a doable trip? Are any small boats going out for day trips on the Rhine? Are there suggestions on which towns on the Rhine to stay at?

We had a cruise booked in October going from Basel to Amsterdam. They just changed the cruise to a cruise in Holland and Belgium. Have any of you done this cruise? We have the option of booking our cruise for a later time before the end of 2027, or going on this cruise and receiving 50% of our ticket towards a cruise in 2027. Trying to decide which route to go.
