I’m actually moving to Dubai this September, and whenever I ask people about the current war situation and safety there, most of them don’t give me a proper answer.

So I’m requesting if anyone genuinely knows the actual situation in Dubai right now, please let me know. I’m really worried and honestly don’t know what I should do anymore. Should I still move to Dubai or reconsider?

I would really appreciate honest advice from people who are currently living there or recently visited.

I'm searching for accommodation near Academic City and came across a place called Makaan Homes. Their website makaan.ae looks really good and the services they provide seem promising, but when I tried to research more deeply I could barely find any genuine reviews or experiences from people. That honestly made me a bit suspicious.

Does anyone here know how Makaan Homes actually is? Is it trustworthy or could it be some kind of scam?

Also if anyone has recommendations for good student accommodations near Academic City please let me know.
