I am an engineering student at a university in Dubai, and with my summer vacations fast approaching, I was wondering what type of summer jobs I can do. It doesn't even need to be related to my degree I just want to get some experience.

Also what's the procedure for applying, do we need a work permit or does a company apply for us

I am an engineering student and with summer vacations approaching I am thinking of doing a summer job, it honestly doesn't even need to be related to my degree, It can be anything from working at a fast food restaurant to working in a call center, so I wanted to know what type of summer jobs do university students here usually do and how can we apply for them.

Also what's the procedure, do we need to apply for a work permit or does the company apply for you.
