Anyone familiar on Integrated Body Arts Studio Rates & Details?

Hi. I've always been interested to try classical pilates and had been wanting to try IBA. However, I have been trying to reach out but no feedback from them. Are there any who can share their overall experience with IBA in Makati?

First Time to Test my flexibility using the Cadillac

I'm not exactly flexible when I was younger. I just recently started pilates on the cadillac aside from the reformer. I'm not sure if this is a nice form, I just followed my instructor's guidance. Hopefully, I get to test my limits more and how i'm going to fix my posture and form since I plan to do more cadillac sessions.

- Trying to get fit through Pilates, pickleball, and the gym
- Loves R&B, old love songs, classic films, sitcoms (Friends, Modern Family, The Office), and K-dramas

- Physically active
- Certified foodie
- Good conversationalist
- A working professional (business, law, tech, finance)

We can talk about pretty much anything (SFW only, please).

You don’t have to impress me. I actually prefer people who don’t. Skip the perfectly crafted introduction and just be yourself. I find that way more interesting. I appreciate people who are genuine, don’t take themselves too seriously, and can make me laugh every now and then. If we get along, great. If not, no hard feelings. At the very least, we both got a conversation out of it.

Has stress ever triggered a flare-up of your hypothyroid symptoms?

A year ago, I was officially diagnosed with subclinical hypothyroidism. My endocrinologist prescribed levothyroxine, and my dosage has been adjusted over time based on my laboratory results.

Over the past year, my symptoms improved significantly. I lost a considerable amount of weight, my TSH levels improved, and overall I felt much better. I’ve continued taking my maintenance medication as prescribed.

However, over the last six months, I’ve gone through several major life transitions and have been under a lot of stress. Since then, it feels like all of my symptoms have gradually returned—weight gain, bloating, fatigue, and most recently, severe hair loss and psoriasis-like patches on my scalp. My dermatologist ordered blood work, and my recent results showed that my TSH has increased to 12, which is well above the normal range. I was also found to have a vitamin D deficiency.

I’m planning to follow up with my endocrinologist, but in the meantime, I’m wondering if anyone else has experienced something similar. Has stress ever caused your hypothyroid symptoms to flare up or your TSH to increase despite taking levothyroxine? Did adjusting your medication or addressing the stress help, what other remedy has help alleviate these symptoms?

Is pursuing graduate school in a different field worth it?

I’m currently working as an analyst in a multinational company and have almost four years of experience in the FMCG industry. I graduated with an industrial engineering degree and have always enjoyed investing in my professional development through certifications and a postgraduate diploma.

Despite that, I feel like I’ve reached a point where I’m no longer challenged or fulfilled in my current career. Over the past year, I’ve realized that my long-term interests have shifted toward agriculture and agribusiness. I’m now seriously considering pursuing a master’s in that field abroad, even though it’s quite different from my academic and professional background.

My biggest hesitation is whether it’s actually a wise decision to pivot into a completely different field through graduate school. Did anyone here pursue a master’s that wasn’t directly related to their undergraduate degree or career? How did it affect your career, and looking back, was it worth it?
