We just launched Photo Albums and Whiteboards on Android and iOS, introduced new backup options, and added granular API permissions for web.
Here's everything that changed.
Android and iOS
Version 2.11.22
- Launched Photo Album for the Gallery on mobile.
- Launched Whiteboards feature on mobile.
- Added cloud album sync that matches your phone's own album structure.
- Added an option to back up photos according to your device's folder structure.
- Added account configuration for email, password, profile picture and name within the app.
- Added "Show in folder" to quickly find files in their parent folder.
- Added secure preview for images, videos, PDFs, and audio inside the Vault.
- Added custom sort and view preferences for each folder.
- Added support for internet shortcuts and URL files.
- Improved dropdowns, menus, and other UI components.
- Fixed an issue where the file menu cannot be dismissed by swiping down.
- Fixed automatic photo backup not rescanning after changing albums.
- Fixed moving files targeting the wrong workspace and creating ghost files.
- Fixed multiple screen layout issues on tablet devices.
- Fixed an issue that could prevent automatic photo backup from scanning files at times.
>Developer's note: The Android version is still pending Google's review.
We'll remove this line once it's live on the Playstore.
Web
- Improved folder creation speed and reliability.
- Added granular read and write permissions for API keys per resource.
- Improved preview and thumbnail generation for HEIC files including older ones.
- Added file thumbnails in the Upload Manager to make images more distinguishable.
- Optimized caching for smoother performance.
- Improved folder creation speed.
- Fixed the video editor's Save button sometimes disappearing.
- Fixed PDFs with form fields reverting to an old version in Sign.
- Fixed uploads getting stuck on "Finalizing in progress".
- Fixed an issue where the wrong file icons would sometimes show up in the Upload Manager.
