Palm pain with controllers
Hi! I have multiple chronic illnesses, and chronic pain. I play either on switch or PC. On PC, I play with an Xbox controller. When I play any kind of "demanding" game (like Rivals), I've found that after a bit of time, the palm of my hand beneath my thumb starts to really hurt. I have ehlers-danlos syndrome, fibromyalgia, and arthritis, so it could be any of those or a combination. I've looked into other controller brands and haven't really come across anything that helps. I was hoping maybe there is something I can attach to the controller in that spot. Like maybe something padded? I'd even be willing to wear some kind of padded glove, but I haven't found any with padding in that specific spot. Also, I'm medically disabled and can't work, so anything too expensive is not feasible.
I appreciate any and all suggestions. Thank you!
