Bei uns im Haus ist seit Wochen die Warmwasserversorgung kaputt ("Techniker ist informiert"). Ich könnte mir zwar mit einem Putzeimer und einem Wasserkocher warmes Wasser anmischen, aber das mit dem Waschlappen+Eimer klappt nicht richtig, weil ich mich danach immer noch total seifig fühle. Also hatte ich die Wahl zwischen warm aber seifig, oder sauber aber kalt. Ich habe meistens letzteres gewählt (und ich hasse kaltes Wasser) und jeden Morgen echt mies begonnen. Und Haare Waschen geht auch nur im Schwimmbad, weil ich da Wasser mit viel Druck brauche.

Jedenfalls hatte ich gestern Morgen so was von die Nase voll davon und habe mir eine Campingdusche gekauft, mit Lieferung am selben Tag. Das ist im Prinzip einfach eine kleine akkubetriebene Pumpe mit einem Duschschlauch plus -kopf oben dran. Die kann man z.B. in einen Eimer mit Wasser stellen und dann pumpt die das Wasser hoch zum Duschkopf.

Und es funktioniert einfach! Es ist zwar eine sehr kurze Dusche, aber es geht und es ist warm. Und ich kann einfach endlich wieder duschen!

I see so many people in the recent attacks page rate their attacks as Rough Sketch for no reason when it’s absolutely Clean Sketch. It doesn’t matter if you used few lines, or have a looser style, or if you drew a character small. Rough Sketch means that there are construction lines showing or previous iterations of the lines. Look at the examples in the Attack Categorisation Guide, I beg you! You deserve so many more points!

Leading up to the event, I saw many people express that they are socially anxious or unsure of the local etiquette and don’t know how to thank the people attacking them. And that often this prevents them from responding at all.

Let me start by stating that if at all possible (and unless other circumstances prohibit it, e.g. if the attack was clearly not made in good faith) you should absolutely send some kind of response. Even if you plan on revenging. Even if it’s just a single emoji. Find a way that works with your situation but do find a way.

And while I’m anxiously waiting for someone I attacked to respond, I thought I’d make a nifty list with some options. You can mix and match them however you want, or do something else, this is just for inspiration. Feel free to put more options or your favourite responses you have gotten in the comments!

Describing what you will do with it:

I bought the white rainbow cape and love the look of it a lot, but I'm having a hard time finding good pants for it. What did you all style it with?

I feel like this is getting lost in all the waves that the new aviary layout is making. They removed the portal to the collab season room and replaced it with a portal to the cinema.

That portal was literally the most useful shortcut ever (only rivalled by Harmony Hall)! Direct shortcut to Colloseum for candle cakes and the temple, direct shortcut to Starlight Desert for shards. And wonderful acoustics and shared spaces to play music in. It was one of my favourite features of Aviary and I've used this portal almost every singe day since they introduced it. I have no reason to go to the cinema (I won't watch this movie more than once a year, especially not if I can't even watch it in one piece). I know I can get to the collab room via Vault, but that is a lot more steps and it is annoying me out of principle. Small enshittifaction.
