Grigori, David, and bowties
The scene with Ilya and David at the end of TLG always makes me cry, but I'd never noticed until now how much it parallels the scene in HR with Ilya's dad.
Apologies if this was widely known, but I just had to share :)

Hi! Just a bit of a rant because I'm very annoyed right now and I felt like this might be a good place to share.
I'm getting jaw surgery through public healthcare. I have been meeting my jaw surgeon every two months and he gives off a great impression, so I'm really comfortable and feel really confident about the surgery itself.
However, I was told that I would be getting surgery in June. I understand that it's difficult to predict when you can get surgery through public healthcare, and I never would have asked for a precise date, except that I was repeatedly assured that it would be in June. This was perfect, because I'm starting my first year of university in September and I really wanted to be healed by then.
My Ortho planned for this surgery date, which means that my decomp is complete and I am in surgery wires. I have a pretty bad underbite so chewing is a struggle atm.
The thing is, after weeks of no contact from the hospital we went without a consult booked and were told that, due to many (somewhat) unpredictable factors, the surgery won't be until September. Again, I understand that this is public healthcare, but I don't get why neither me or my Ortho were informed.
So yeah. I'm stuck for two more months without being able to chew, and I have to miss about a month of university, which terrifies me (I know it's probably not that bad, but I'm both a study maniac and an introvert, so I feel like I'm going to be left behind).
I want to say that I'm extremely grateful for free healthcare, as I wouldn't be able to get this surgery otherwise. It just kind of sucks right now. Has anybody had a similar situation?
Anyway, thanks for reading. I hope these kinds of posts are allowed on here :)
Hi! I'm on my first relisten of TMA, but it's been a while since the first time, so I've got a question.
When Martin is reading a statement and doesn't notice someone else there (first Basira and then Tim, I'm unsure if it happens again), is that the Lonely starting to take hold of him and making him think he's alone? Or is it something completely unrelated that I'm forgetting about?
Thanks!
