A touch-up? Lowering my hairline? Or trying oral min?

So, I had my first ht about 4 years ago with a horrible doctor. Sadly I didn’t know much about it and went there cause it was cheaper.
02 years later I had a repair with a reputable surgeon who’s totally against lowering your hairline.
But the thing is, I love wearing slickback hairstyles and I feel the hairline the first doctor gave me is way too high.
The doctor who performed the 2nd ht, the repair one, is willing to fill in a specific area that still isn’t dense enough as a touch up for half the price I paid for the repair, but won’t go lower on my hairline.
I searched another doctor who would do it, but would charge me double of what the repair doctor is willing to charge me for the touch up.
And there is also the possibility of trying oral minoxidil to thicken the caliber of the current follicles of hair that didn’t fully mature.

What would you do if you were me?

1 - Spend less money and just have a touch up on my hairline in a specific part that the density didn’t match the rest
Or
2 - Spend more money and lowering it as I like to wear pushed back hairstyles?
Or
3 - try oral minoxidil.
