I’ve noticed recently that if I set my computer to sleep, and wake it up after a while, there will be extremely noticeable audio crackling regardless of what the content is. It goes away if I restart the computer, and it never happens when I boot it up from it being fully powered off. Has anyone else experienced this? I’m on the latest deck image.
I’ve heard so many good things about gyro control, I’ve tried it a few times and it’s been quite difficult for me to get the hang of. Is there a recommend config I should be using? Or does it come down to practicing?
Got the UGREEN 85564 dongle i’ve seen recommended, in hopes of getting 4:4:4 chroma working at least. Using the dongle leads to extremely bad artifacts, like pink and grey squares followed by a display shutoff for a few seconds. Would this be a bazzite issue or an issue with the dongle itself? Never experienced these issues by only using HDMI 2.0. I’m using a 9070 non-XT.
If I can’t get it to work, it’s not a big deal. I’ll just wait for the deck image that includes HDMI 2.1 support. Just wanna know if anyone else experienced anything similar when using a dongle.
HDR doesn’t look good when enabled compared to SDR. With HDR the image is somehow less bright, and the darks are way too black (eg. shadows in games) and whites are extremely bright. But somehow, SDR seems to have an overall brighter picture, with no issues when it comes to whites and darks. I have force composite already enabled in developer mode, as I was having issues with color banding a while ago.
I’m using the latest stable deck image, connected to my tv via hdmi 2.0. I believe I’m running at 4:2:0 since my resolution is 4K60. But would that chroma profile really make HDR look that awful? Any advice/fixes would mean a lot to me, I’m still very new to bazzite/linux.
