I sold this pair of Kobe’s on Depop to this person, and as they said, kept them updated and everything. I open my Depop just now and saw I got a 2 STAR for it! All my other reviews have been 5 stars. I am so confused

What’s up KobeReps, recently I posted about STAR dropping these girls EYBL Kobe 5, and I purchased it day of. Paid 5 days ago and got it in today from TMF.

I was asked to do a retail vs rep comparison so here we go:

First thing I’ve noticed was the color and print, the color on retails are much lighter probably due to oxidation, I’m not sure, but the print is definitely more prominent in the retail pair compared to the STAR pair.

Second thing I noticed was the laces, the laces look very very thick compared to retail.

Now moving onto the most DISAPPOINTING and IMPORTANT issue. The 3m materials reflectance or whatever is absolutely horrible on the STAR pair. Absolutely no where near retail, and barely shines even when flash is on. I believe S2 had better prints and for this price, this is super disappointing. I still love the pair regardless but with this issue, I’m not sure if I am willing to spend the same amount of money to double up on these.

I also notice the swoosh sizes, the swoosh on the retail pair is significantly bigger but other than these issues, I don’t think there is anything else I need to cover.
