Hey all! I've bought a MacBook pro M1 14 inch since I needed a laptop for editing or when I'm not at home. I'll be honest, I never liked Apple. Not a fan of iPhones or their other products. I always was a Windows / Linux person.

But, wow.

After buying a MacBook for around £500, I've been seriously impressed with the editing performance in Premiere Pro. This thing feels smoother than my entire PC rig at some times. Is Premiere just better optimized for Mac??

Anyway, really happy with the battery and performance. Absolutely splendid speakers, amazing display.

Did not expect this from a 5 year old MacBook m1 pro.

I had money saved up for the Steam Frame.... But it's just not releasing! I needed a laptop for work, so I decided to pull the trigger and use my saved up money for a MacBook.

Hey all! I've got a Surface laptop 4 (13' inch model) with the Ryzen 5.

I've been seeing people say the laptop gets at least 8-19 hours of battery life.

But uh, no? At least not for me...

The longest I could drag out of this laptop was 3 hours with battery saving mode. The battery health is 84%, so it should still hold at least 6 hours minimum. I've also heard about the "silicone lottery", but even so I don't think the battery should be this bad while having Brave open and doing simple internet browsing.

Any help or tips? I've debloated the system, done a ton of stuff to improve battery life, but it barely did a difference. I was thinking about Linux but apparently it doesn't work well on surface laptops.

I've never had a windows laptop that could hold longer than 3 hours max... In my whole life! Is this some type of curse that I have with me?!

Also no, I'm not trying Mac. Worst os ever.

I started screaming and proceeded to burn my house down in frustration.

My wife and kids? Screamed at them. It's all their fault. WHY is the FRAME not even OUT? How dare they. It's Steam's fault that my marriage fell apart.

The only thing that I need is the Steam Frame. My wife will come back to me. My kids will be back. My life will have a point. Please Valve. Release to the Frame.
