i have been searching for a answer for the past 15 minutes and i just can´t find it. all i keep finding is how to rotate the camera up and down, which i already know how to do but that´s not what i want. i need to move the camera´s position up and down, but i can´t find anything on how to do it

Just did a clean install of my pc and was wondering, is setting up a Pagefile still thing with modern pc and hardware? I used to read a lot about it a couple years ago.

Anyone know of a P38 in development for dcs?

I'm getting back into playing DCS after taking about 6 months off and need to know which maps are a necessity, and which maps I can unload. I need to free up some space and DCS takes up way too much space because I have several of the maps/terrains. I would like to know what are the most popular ones, especially online. This is what I have:

Cold War = 129GB

Kola = 158GB

Afghanistan = 140GB

South Atlantic = 115GB

Syria = 69GB

Nevada = 35GB

Sinai = 82GB

Persian Gulf = 32GB

Mariana = 14GB

What goes first?

Why do I have to be on the azimuth and elevation radar mode to use the interrogation modes

I've been working for some time on the latest F-22 mod, that I'm calling the block 40. I've acquired 3D models, so this will be completely separate from the Grinnelli Designs version. I wanted to share an update for those that are interested. So far here are the features I've built into the avionics:

• Updated 3D model and external model
  • Cockpit model has all knobs and buttons modeled/animated
  • External model will have ECMS doors, APU doors and other updated animations
• Custom Radar:
  • Air to Air: RWS/TWS mode with ripple fire capabilities of Fox-3
  • Air to Ground: Terrain mapping with DBS 1/2 and SAR mode
• Tactical Situation Display fully modeled
• Datalink/Link16 capabilities for air contacts and SAMs printed on the TSD
• GPS guided GBU-32 and GBU-39 (with ripple fire capabilities)
• Moving map (satellite and traditional map)
• Fully modeled navigation with INS alignment and steerpoint management
• Custom RWR with MAWS
• Customizable ECMS programs with auto mode based on approaching missile
• Dynamic RCS based on bay doors or external stores
• Fully modeled electrical system with backup emergency power, OBOGS, hydraulic system, radios, and autopilot
• NVG/HMD

It's still very much a work in progress, and I have no ETA for release just yet but wanted to spread awareness.

Which aircraft do you regret buying, if any & why?

Mine would be the F-14 or the Spitfire simply because I don't get to use them as often as I'd like.

How many hours do you have currently logged on DCS?

Which modules are your favorite? Nevada, Gulf, C130 &F/A18

Which airframe have you logged the most?

F/A18

I have almost all the modules at this point.

My prime time is the F/A18 with super carrier. 376hrs

And now I have learned the C130, I can stop dropping MOABs everywhere. I think Im at 130hrs 30 or that was learning correct procedures for start up, cargo, nav, taxi, flight, landing and shut down.

I think the c130 may become my go to. Seems to be the most rewarding one at this point.

My other favorite is the C47, Thats fun once you get the right keys set up.

Every now and then my compass doesn't work, and in the center of the HUD is a crosshair instead of the usual horizontal line. I can't for the life of me figure out what I have done differently when this happens and have to restart the mission to fix it. I am in NAV mode. Does anyone know?

Secondly, how do I remove a page I don't want in Air-to-ground mode from my MFD? For example if I only want the TGP and HTS pages.
