I absolutely love the idea of WHM. Seems awesome and I love to help out in groups. But I also need to level and in other games I would never level up a healer as a healer role. I would use their DPS spec or something. How does it work in FFXI? Thank you!

I keep hearing about how exploration with exobiology can make you billions. Is this true or is this just a chance based thing? I am currently way out in the black and I am discovering untouched systems. It's probably not going to make me a lot of money but it's cool to me to discover new systems.
But if I wanted to maximize profits, what should I be doing? Honk, FSS, and then map each planetary body with DSS? Then land and sample all the biological signals? Is this the best way to maximize money or is this a huge time waste? Would love to know what veteran explorers do. Thank you!
