(Possibly) Unpopular opinion: Spring Marathon event was really good
Walked 84km over the event.
I have not achieved this kind of numbers due to PoGo since Adventure Week 2023.
It was simple, straight forward, could be played anywhere, anytime, and you weren't reliant on other players.
Field Researches required you to simply walk, egg pool was small and specific and rewards allowed you to shiny hunt fan-favourite costumed Pokemon that could actually evolve.
Legendary Raids had bosses that were easy to solo.
No severe pay to win, no need to schedule the game over other responsibilities, no requirement to play at specific location.
Good stuff.

Spawned on Lumby, Pickpocketed a Man until I had 1 hp remaining.
Chose to do Sheep Shearer while my HP regenerates, missclicked on a fucking Ram in the sheep pen and got fucked by it because I looked away.
My adventure lasted a total of maybe 5 fucking minutes.
