found him on the ceiling inside, never seen him before! we bought a house in manitoba and moved here from another province. what could he be? is he a pest? he is very small and round with quite big antennae and he kind of looks like a short round scorpion without the tail.

im not expecting solutions, and i am in the process of looking for another job, but i just wanted to vent about my workplace situation. i am a supervisor for a small retail store, and most of the staff are great. the first part of this vent is that there is one employee who is very difficult to work with. she is rude to customers, doesnt listen to me when i ask her to put her phone away or not have her headphones around her neck while at work, and will leave the cash area when her shift is done without waiting for coverage or telling anyone. she asks to leave early almost every day, she complains about having nothing to do but wont do the tasks i assign her, even when i give her a variety of different things to choose from and tell her to pick 2 or 3 to work on. i have no power to fire her, and my manager is not locked in at all.
the second part to this rant is about my manager. she is very nice, but not very good at her job. she will turn me down when i volunteer to do tasks, like count the till or cover cash, but she will get distracted and leave the till half-counted in the office and go for a smoke. or she'll cover cash and make a bunch of simple mistakes while using my code, so it makes it look like ive lost $20 or dont know how to do refunds. she cant schedule very well either, scheduling 3 cashiers and no keyholder, or two keyholders and no cashiers, and will just be like 'oops haha im so stupid, sorry everyone! ill change it!' and then doesnt change it, and i or the other supervisor has to fix it or call someone in.
its not a huge deal, but im doing way more work than my position warrants, and the pay is really abysmal. like i said im looking for another job but i was just so frustrated when looking at my upcoming schedule for this week, i had to get it off my chest. thanks for reading.
