I dont know if this should be here. I have a “habitual” SL taker. I know sick leaves are mandatory but this staff mamber has taken more SLs than anyone else in the team by at least 60-70% than everyone else. People might say hes sickly, but the fact that he has as much VLs burned being at the beach is definitely sus. This was fine in the past- i let it slide, but since we have a current staffing problem, ive been very tight on SLs and VLs.

Anyway, he took a questionable SL last week. So questionable that i had asked for a med cert. i had also asked to attend the online meeting the following day. When he talked- he sounded like he was minutes away from death. (Obviously he was selling the sickness) i found this silly and hilarious at the same time.

My point? Guys were not in gradeschool anymore. Your bosses are not stupid. Just be honest and well give you a hall pass. - that of course comes with a hefty fee of performance, and accountability. Be a good soldier, and were cool.
