Will employers be able to tell that a "general" in Computing is far inferior to a "major" in Computing (seeing as "general" is Queen's-specific terminology)

I don't think other schools use the term "general", and from what I’ve seen their 3 year and 4 year non-honours degrees use the term “major”. but if they do then my reasoning doesn't work. But if they don't, then employers could potentially not know what it means (since they're obviously not going to know every single piece of terminology from one university out of hundreds) and thus assume that it's the same as a major, right?

Engineering or Computer Science?

Which one is the better degree in terms of Job stability and job opportunities. I do enjoy cs and coding but don’t wanna end up jobless. But I also do find engineering interesting.
Thanks!
