I used my Vyvanse and dexies not just for Adhd but to treat my mood - as after several failed trials of antidepressants it seemed to be the only thing that worked. I now eat them like lollies to keep my mood up. After a period of stopping them for 4 months I found nothing enjoyable - my mood felt like a balloon I was desperately trying to keep in the air and stop hitting the ground. I don’t want to feel euphoric - just content. Is there any hope for antidepressants working for me ?

I’m not coping well with all this empty time my brain now has to occupy not being on stims. Anyone live in Sydney who can recommend some good groups to join / things to do ?

I think I’ve made the mistake of primarily using Vyvanse as a treatment for depression. I used to use Vyvanse to help support all the things that would help me with my depression Eg getting out of bed, exercising , cleaning up. I eventually maxed out my dose and now I’m sitting in bed and can’t move despite taking 70mg Vyvanse.
Anyone else experience this - if so what do you find works and for anyone who has previously used stimulants to treat depression have there been any antidepressants that have worked for you ?
