Hi all! This is my first time posting my art to this subreddit. I generally like to paint greeting cards (the stakes seem lower somehow??), and this is the first time i’ve gotten what’s in my head onto the paper. More or less anyway!

Hello! I’ve posted this rock before and didn’t get an answer, but I think these pictures might be better. Location is Eastern Ontario, Canada in an area which is largely marine sediment.

I got some hostas and ferns transplanted from a friend’s yard and these little guys hitched a ride. I really hope they aren’t poison oak…

Location is Eastern Ontario. I’m guessing that this is sandstone but what are the little rectangular bits? Some sort of crystal? How do they form?
