I noticed this tooth in my mouth a few months ago. After that, I noticed swollen lymph nodes (only on this side) under my jaw and, to a lesser extent, on my neck. Only yesterday I had the tooth removed. The surgeon said lymph nodes could be swollen because of the tooth, but that I don’t need antibiotics. Is that true?
The surgeon said that because of a nearby nerve, I might only be able to have part of the tooth removed. But they’ll do a 3D scan first next month. How reasonable is this in my case?
My dentist said we could leave them in and, if there are problems with other upper teeth, do a transplant in their place. But the oral surgeon said it’s better to remove them, especially the upper right one. How reasonable is that?
