Media Buyer in Denmark (performance marketing)

Hello everyone! I hope that this post is allowed here. I’m a media buyer/ performance marketer (buy mainly on outbrain, Taboola. Mediago, with 3 years of experience). Due to my husband’s work I am moving to Denmark, and I’m really looking forward to it! I have been searching for affiliate marketing scenes in Denmark and I got to know a few like Adservice, Partner-Ads these networks… but other than browsing on LinkedIn I’d like to try my chance here.

I am mainly experienced in running beauty/ health/ e-commerce campaigns. I understand that speaking Danish is important (and of course I’ll learn), but to start I’m really interested to meet people alike and expand my network.

Other than native ads, I also am self learning Facebook ads.

I’m open to opportunities, chats, coffee, however you like! The goal is to meet people alike or people who are interested in what I do, or need similar services and expand my professional network.

A bit of my background, I started in performing marketing space 8 years ago, first I was an account manager, then I became a media buyer.

Happy to have a chat and appreciate any input here. It’s not really a question, but a general post to find people alike!

Can I share / tranfer facebook pixel to another ad account?

I don't even know how to start this question but I will do my best to write down the structure that I have and I want. I am a shopify store owner, and been running ads for a while, about 6 months, my facebook pixel has been learning well and performing well. The store is based in Malaysia, and I am based in Europe.

My facebook ad account is in EURO because I've had the account for a while, created before I have this business based outside Europe. I started running ad for the store using this account. My ad account does not accept any card issued in Malaysia, it has to be EURO and matching my billing address.

My business partner is based in Malaysia, and he now has an ad account and we can pay with MYR malaysian currency. This is our goal, we really want to try avoid using Euro because it's not practical. Ultimately, I'd like to run ads through his account.

Is there a way to use my business partner's new ad account to run ads but with my pixel? Or is there some way to apply learning (or whatever equivalent) so I don't have to "restart" again? I personally don't think there's a way to do it, but I want to try my chance, if anyone has similar experience, or if there's any workaround.

Thank you very much!

Self employed in Denmark Set up

Hello everyone! I will be moving to Denmark soon and I have a potential job contract coming, and the company is based in the EU. I will be their full time employee.

I am not sure if there's a possibility to register myself as self employed (freelancer) or what you called Enkeltmandsvirksomhed in Denmark? Since I will be working as a full time employee.

I have heard that it'd be easier to go through EOR, but I'd like to know if Enkeltmandsvirksomhed is possible, just trying to figure out some options. Is anyone in the same position as me? How is it going and how did you work it out?

Thank you and appreciate your advices and experience sharing!

Affiliate Marketing Scene in Denmark

Hi everyone! I've been in affiliate marketing industry for more than 8 years and I'll be moving to Denmark soon. The job market in Denmark is depressing, plus I don't speak Danish (yet) it's gonna be hard for me.

I am a media buyer, run native ads (outbrain / taboola) and a bit of facebook at the moment.

It'd be nice if anyone here is in the same industry? If there's any affiliate marketers networking event in Denmark? I'd be happy to join!

If not, I'm also happy to help organizing if there are enough people, or even a small meet up!

What are the nice experience with local Danish you’ve had since you moved to Denmark?

Hello everyone! I’m an Asian and moving to Denmark with my husband soon, my husband isn’t from Denmark, but is an EU citizen.

I have moved around a lot and mostly within Europe, but I’m not sure why I’m particularly afraid of moving to Denmark. Maybe it’s because of my age (we are at our early 30s and have started to understand the ugly part of life lol), and I’ve seen a lot of social media posts about foreigners feeling difficult to integrate despite speaking the language, or some racist experience like a train conductor being rude to Asian faces.

I do understand that people mostly complain and tend to share more unpleasant experiences. So here I am, I’d like to hear more positive experiences that you’ve had in Denmark, no matter which city you live in, from local people.

And of course, my first thing to do will be learning Danish. :)

Really looking forward to hear positive experiences!
