I am planning to join CBIT for biotechnology and how is the grading system here? Are the professors lenient ?

I wish to repeat a year voluntarily and I wanted either CBIT biotechnology or VNR biotechnology! Which is better? I am going to be voluntarily dropping out of Mahindra University.

Is it possible to change from btech to bba after first year!
