I made a huge mistake

I had hair down to the back of my knees, I went for the big chop yesterday as it was becoming unmanageable.

The stylist didn't listen to a word I said and I've left with the worst hair cut I've ever had. (and the most expensive)

I've lost over half my length and I don't have the Choppy layers or face framing I wanted.

I feel like I've lost a part of myself.

I know it's only hair but after pepping myself for the 'big chop' I feel so disappointed.

My hair is the only classically feminine thing about me physically and I'm struggling to accept that my one stand out feature is gone.

Feels so dumb typing this but I'm honestly so sad.

Best long hair girl hairdresser in Birmingham?

I haven't had a proper cut in over 3 years

Hair is currently mid thigh length and so so heavy.

Dead straight.

I'm looking for a proper cut, layers, face framing etc

Help a nervous girl out, where/who is the best in Birmingham?

Intensive driving course

I want to do an intensive driving course

Has anyone got any recommendations for company's within Birmingham that are reputable?

With the theory and test included preferably.

I tried to learn 10 years ago and felt I could operate a manual vehicle safely but i struggled to read the road sometimes and I lacked confidence.

Had a driving instructor that was more interested in small talk than teaching me

Failed 2 tests and gave up.

I finally feel like I'm ready to try again but I don't want to throw thousands at a bogus company

Thanks for reading

Advice with room transition

So my little one is turning 2 in a weeks time and I've almost finished their bedroom.

I've got her a toddler floor bed (full size single) and I've anchored all other furniture etc.

Up until this point we have started the night in my bed for a story, snuggles and milk, then I pop her in the cot next to my bed and pat her to sleep and sneak away (works 4/5 nights).

She usually end up back in the bad around 3am then sleeps through until morning.

This has been the norm for about 2 months, prior to that we coslept.

I'm looking to transition her into her own room after her birthday and I'm looking for advice, tips, tricks

Also, once the sleep part is sorted, what are we all doing about the door? Are we closing them in? Or getting a baby gate on the door so the door can be left open slightly but they are contained but don't feel trapped?

Thanks for reading,

From one very anxious mama
